EIVA were recently joined by some of the crew from Sonardyne and Wavefront on a survey vessel for the purpose of testing. Together, they equipped the ScanFish ROTV with the Solstice sidescan sonar and navigation equipment from Sonardyne for the first time. The results from the collaboration are promising. Both the high-quality data collected during the trial and improved positioning accuracy open up a new function for the versatile ROTV.
